SLEEK CLEOPATRA'S KISS HIGHLIGHT PALETTE REVIEW*

After watching a plethora of youtube makeup videos, I suddenly found myself obsessed with makeup again. Highlighting and contouring seem all the rage at the moment and Sleek, keeping up with the game,  have bought out their new 'Cleopatra Kiss' Highlight Palette which naturally I drooled over. The lovely people over at JustMyLook sent me it over and it is to die for!

Having tried and still loving their contour and blush palette, I was very excited to try this exciting new highlighter palette out. The Cleopatra Kiss Highlight Palette is Sleek's second highlight palette and I must say it is definitely my favourite out of the two.

The golden palette consists of two cream highlighters and two baked powder highlighters.
The shades are:
- Sphinx: bronze- gold powder
- Delta:  creamy bronze
- Dynasty: creamy yellow tone gold
- Goddess: champagne pink powder

Where to Apply: cheekbones, cupid, tearduct, brow bone and bridge of your nose.

After having used each shade a couple of times, I must say I love every single one. The creams are very smooth when gliding onto your skin and each shade is very buildable so you can realy highlight to your own liking. However as the powders are very pigmented I would be careful if you only want a slight glow.

How to Apply: I apply this, as I would any powder highlight, and that is with my RT buffing brush (it is a tad big but it's doable.) However with the two cream shades I apply it with my fingers and then blend them in with my buffing brush. Can you use both? Yes, you can! I've seen some tutorials where they applied the cream first and then the powder and it was gorgeous and I do the same!

My general go to look used to be just applying Sphinx onto my cheekbones and the bridge of my nose and then Goddess in my tearducs, which looked really nice. Although now, after facing my fear and diving into the cream shades I apply as follows:

Day Look: I pair Dynasty and Goddess on my cheekbones and then Goddess in all the other places
Night Look: I sometimes stick with the day look at night (depends what I'm wearing) but most of the time I pair: Sphinx and Delta and I absolutely love it.

The packaging is probably the only thing I dislike. I'm not a fan of most of Sleek's packaging as its a bit bland but this gold just doesn't sit well with me but I am not too fussed as the product is amazing
Overall, I highly recommend Sleek's Cleopatra's Kiss Highlight Palette, Now I'm not saying it is a Anastasia Glow Kit but it is an amazing high street alternative for nearly a quarter of the price at £10.

Buy: Boots, Superdrug, Feel Unique and JUST MY LOOK!

Have you tried this palette out? Or any other from Sleek?
