I'm just going to come out and say it: I GOT INTO UNIVERSITY!
This past year, after receiving disappointing A Level results I decided to take a gap year and try to improve my grades! Despite my A levels not improving by much, I am really happy with them and the university that I am going to.

I am so excited to start this new chapter of my life that i worked so independently and incredibly hard for. I am just happy that A levels are over with! Eventhough I didn't get into the university I wanted, I've come to believe that 'whatever will be, will be,' so I am attempting to accept things now for what they are and not stress about every little thing.

I didn't get into halls this year so I had to find some people to rent a house with; who knew renting, bills and house hunting could be so stressful!? Alas, after three rushed days of finding a group, going house hunting, loosing a house, I finally have a house! Now I just have to worry about bills, rent and finding a job.

I probably sound like I am moaning but I am EXTREMELY excited! I'm finally going to have that piece of freedom I crave and after nineteen long years I will finally have my own room with a double bed! Be warned, I will have a bunch of homeware hauls and uni posts coming your way ASAP.

It's weird because of all of this going on, I haven't given actually university a thought. I do think I am going to love my degree in Chemistry but I am scared that I may not be able to keep up with the maths as I didn't take it at A-level. Hopefully they'll give me lots of help with that aspect and hopefully it won't be too hard for me. Although people do say degree level is much easier than A-Level (thank God.)

So my life for the last three weeks has consisted of many trips to Ikea, home shops, Wilkos, Asda and WH Smiths oh and sorting out the house in terms of bills and then there's the worrying for no apparent reason until I was actually living here.

Now, I am currently moving in, probably right this second as you read this. Hopefully I will really enjoy it here and that I will be happy!

Overall, I am incredibly excited and grateful to be starting this new adventure in my life. I am the first person in my family to move away for uni (second person to actually go to uni) so this is new for everyone in my family. I am an opportunist so I am going to delve into this uni experience as much as I can (and still keep out of my overdraft!)

I hope you enjoyed this little update! If you got your results, how did you do? Are you excited about university!?
