WHY YOU NEED A BLOGGING BREAK

This month has been so hectic with school, revision, work and life that I have opted (well kind of have been forced) to take an unwanted blogging break. No one ever really wants to take a blogging break, however I definitely needed one and you may, too. Below I've compiled a mini list of why you need a blogging break and why it is totally okay if you do.

TOO MUCH LIFE AT ONCE
Sometimes, we are all moving 100mph because life is coming at us from all angles and to top it off we have a blog to keep up with. If your blog is a hobby, like it is for me, then take a few days off to have a breather and concentrate on more important things like work, school and relationships. That way when you get back to blogging, you'll feel refreshed and ready as everything else is settled.

BLOGGING SLUMPS
We all go through these torturous times and sometimes, if resources like this or this(all will help you out of your blogging slump and stay organised) do not help, your mind is probably screaming at you to take a break. Having a break from what's stressing you out is guaranteed to make your brain a more productive vessel for ideas when the time does come to blog again.

WE ARE ALL HUMAN
Yes, you heard me, we are ALL humans; we all get tired and sometimes stepping away from the thing you are putting so much energy into can help rejuvenate your mind and body. If blogging is a full time job for you, you obviously cannot do this for too long but try to for at least a day, to relax and catch up on much needed sleep. Your mood is sometimes transcribed onto what you write so if you are extremely tired, you readers are probably not going to get your usual preppy, happy post.

SUCH LITTLE TIME
This past week, I have spent all of my time on work and none on my blog, which is so unlike me but so like me during the exam period (you'd think having a bullet journal would help.) In this mini predicament you are forced to take a blogging break but for me this only makes me more eager to get back to my blog and gives me so much more inspiration to create brilliant content for all of you.

REMEMBER it's okay to take a blogging break, just don't fall off of the face of the earth and tell no one about it. Keep people updated about what's going on on your social media accounts. As said above, we are all humans and people do understand that we need breaks from things from time to time. Which brings me onto my next question:

HOW LONG FOR?
If blogging is your hobby, you  should take as long as you need to get refreshed and inspired again.
If your blog is a business, take as much time off as you would if you were in a full time office job. Just remember you and your health come before everything, so you just do you and what works best for you.

Are you suffering from any of these symptoms? Maybe you should consider taking a blogging break. When do you think people need a blogging break and how long do you think for?
