7 THINGS YOU SHOULD NEVER LEAVE THE HOUSE WITHOUT

If, like me, you carry around a heavy bag filled with things you absolutely don't need (yes the receipts from your last months Nandos is 100% not needed,) this post is definitely for you. I've narrowed the contents of my bag to 7 things that you should never leave the house without.
Each of these things you should never leave the house without will prove essential to your everyday life and indeed help your day run much smoother.
1) Phone and Headphones
How else are you going to be anti-social in the car, bus or train?
But honestly, I cannot go anywhere without listening to music like what else am I going to do? Stare out of the window or talk to people?

MY TOP 5 BLOGGING REGRETS

We all have a lot of regrets and we all have a lot of blogging regrets, some have more than others. I've been blogging for four years now so I have built up my fair share of blogging regrets. I wrote a '10 Things I Wish I Knew Before I Started Blogging' post but that was just in general things, so I thought I would delve more deeper and share My Top 5 Blogging Regrets.

Many of these range from my actual blog, social media and blogging and blogging relationships.

1) Not being active on Twitter since Day One.
I've had twitter longer than I have had this blog and I wish I shared my blog sooner, but I was too scared. Twitter is such a great tool for growing your blog and expanding it's audience and I wish I did it sooner because my blog could have been one hundred yards ahead of what it is now and I could have formed stronger blogger relationships, which I really struggle to do now.

Hi guys, I have finally decided on a posting schedule for GeorgiaNicolaou. I am going to post every Wednesday and every Sunday. I also might throw in another odd one here and there but we will see how everything goes on. Today I am going to be sharing with you my second hand book haul buys.

I love charity book shopping as you can find really great books for awesome prices. I love reading other second hand book hauls and seeing what people have found, so hopefully you'll enjoy my second hand book haul.

WE'VE ALL GOT TO START SOMEWHERE | GETFITWITHGEE #1

So I've been contemplating starting this #GETFITWITHGEE since the year docked. I actually have already written this post but then I got lazy and didn't publish it as my fitness journey came to a halt.
I am officially back on track now, as I have a holiday booked for the end of June and I want to look and feel good. Thus, (yes, I said thus) I am starting #GETFITWITHGEE and I am blogging about it.

On this installment of #GETFITWITHGEE we're talking about changes; changes in diet, changes in exercise and changes in attitude.

CHANGES IN DIET:
When I previously 'lost all of that weight' before, I cut out everything from chocolate to junk food and I don't remember finding it hard at all. Thinking about it now, I am dreading cutting out chocolate and the odd takeaway. So, I am taking the moderation pathway. I CAN and WILL have chocolate, not everyday but in moderation. I am going to try my best to cut out bread, eventhough I don't eat much of it and incorporate a bunch of colour in my diet (fill me up on them fruit and veggies!) Also, I am going to try and increase my water intake to around a litre, litre and a half a day.

CHANGES IN EXERCISE:
For the past couple of months, I have been averaging going to the gym maybe once or twice a month. Now, I am going to make it my mission (I even have a page dedicated in my bullet journal) to go at least three times a week.

CHANGES IN ATTITUDE:
When I was loosing weight before, I always used to get down when I didn't see results straight away. Now, I am going to try and be positive and not get hung up if I don't lose what I wanted as I now the results will eventually show.

Hopefully, this series will prove very helpful to you and will give you some inspiration. I am hoping to do weekly/ fortnightly updates which will include a weigh in, but it'll just say how many lbs I've lost, if any. I'd love for you guys to join me and #GETFITWITHGEE.

SEVENTEEN FALSIFEYE MASCARA REVIEW

I love trying out different mascaras. Since my Maybelline the Rocket Mascara has run out, I thought it was time to try out a new one. Shopping in the limited selection of a small Boots store I came across the Seventeen section, realising I have never tried their mascaras before. I picked out 17's Falsifeye Mascara, purely because of the 'new' labels labelled all over the packaging.
The mascara holdall itself is very oddly shaped but its not not comfortable to hold. The packaging claims the mascara has the 'False Lash Effect' so I was really excited to try it out, as I am all about them long, fleeky lashes.
Safe to say, I was very disappointed. I don't know if it's because this mascara is better suited for people with bigger eyes and longer lashes than me but I just didn't get the 'False Lash Effect' the packaging claimed I would. In fact, the Falsifeye Mascara did the opposite for me. What I look for in a mascara is one that adds thickness and volume to my lashes. 17's Falsifeye Mascara did lengthen my lashes but did not add the thickness I was looking for.

Don't get me wrong, the Falsifeye mascara is a good mascara however the wand, for me, just didn't do as it said it would on the tin. If you are looking for an inexpensive, lengthening and separating mascara definitely check out the Falsifeye Mascara from 17, retailing at £6.49.

Have you tried this mascara? I would love to know if it worked differently for you. Also, I'd love some more great mascara recommendations.

FOUR YEARS OF GEORGIANICOLAOU

To be honest, I never really know how to start these types of posts. I could go on and say: 'omg a year has absolutely flown by, how did that happen?' But that get's a bit too repetitive and boring, doesn't it?
I will say this though: it has only been in these past two months or so that I have started to feel happy with my blog. I feel like I am finally building a readership and am beginning to really type what I want to type.

This past year I started thinking about monetizing my blog and making money from it. However, I just ended up obsessing about views and comments and follow counts that I seemed to have lost the love for blogging I had in my first coupe of years. No doubt my writing and my content have improved immensely (and hopefully will continue to do so) but I want to rediscover that love I had for blogging again.

GOODBYE, MARCH: HELLO, APRIL

April is here, expect hundreds of pictures of floral bouquets on my instagram and here starting now.
March was an all around lovely month, although it did fly by. I say this in every post but I just cant believe it is April already! I have two more months and my exams begin. I have two more months and then I am in my last year of teenage hood. Anyhoo, I am getting a bit off topic.

Here's how March went and what I did:
1) I started watching Suits (oh my god so good.)
2) I got into makeup again (boohoo for my bank account.)
3) I hit 200 Bloglovin' followers
4) I hit 200 Instagram followers
5) Lads holiday is officially booked: well, the hotel is.
6) I finished all of my revision notes (it was technically today but still March)
7) I bought a bullet journal
8) Gym has become one of my closest friends (hello, sore muscles.)

Here's what I hope to achieve/ looking forward to in April:
