Hey guys, I am not too sure on how to start this post so I am just going to jump right in.
As we speak, many (we may be talking hundreds) of people are participating in a readathon. For those of you who do not know what a readathon is, it is basically a couple of days, this one being seven days, where you read as much as you can.
TBRTakedown is specifically designed to diminish your 'to be read' pile. It's still currently running and ends January 10th at midnight. It's really fun and there are a bunch of challenges. I did do a video about what I will be reading but I also thought I'd share it with you guys, too.
Here are the challenges, some of which I doubled together and the books I will be reading for them:

A book from a recent haul and the start of a series. For these two challenges, I chose Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas. I am so excited to read this book! All I know is that it is about a female assassin. I also know that this series is so hyped and the Maas writes amazingly. She actually wrote one of my favourite books from last year: A Court of Thorns And Roses (click here for that.)

A book out of your comfort zone. I chose 'Only Ever Yours' by Louise O'Neill. I have actually already read this and it was absolutely amazing. If you want to see a full written review on this just say but it will be in a reading wrap up post. The reason it is outside of my comfort zone was because I heard it was very creepy and the issues it dealt with were not something I've read before.

A book that has been on your shelf for over a year and the lucky colours of 2016 (red/orange/ yellow:) 'Talon' by Julie Kagawa has been on my shelf for about a year now. What I know about this book is that it is a fantasy and it involves dragons, which is something I have never read before. Also, I believe this is the only red book i own.

A prequel or next book in the series: I've been meaning to read Betrayed ever since I finished Marked around four years a go. Betrayed is the second book in House of Night series that is about teenage Vampires (yup, this was when Twilight was huge and I was into the whole vampire thing.) I know that so many people love this series however, I do think I might be too 'mature' of a reader to enjoy it but I won't know until I try.

Read a non novel. This was a no-brainer for me. My non novel is my textbook or should i say textbooks. I need to get my butt in gear and revise.

That is what I plan on reading for the next few days and maybe the next few weeks I definitely want to read Talon and Throne of Glass thought!

What are you reading at the moment?
