THE 16 MUST READ BOOKS OF 2016

Hello, everyone.
I'm writing another book post *hooray!* Book posts are honestly one my favourite type of post to both read and write. Today's topic is 16 that are a must read for me in 2016. I already own mostly all of these books (apart from two,) so they are all out in stores.
I'd also like to point out that these books range in genre but the majority are YA.
THRONE OF GLASS, HEIR OF FIRE, A COURT OF MIST AND FURY all by SARAH J MAAS
The first two books are the first in the Throne of Glass series which is about a bad ass female assassin. I've spoken so much about this series. eg. here and I cannot wait to finally read it.
ACOMAF is the prequel to ACOTAR which I absolutely loved and cannot wait to see what happens to Feyre. I am Team Tamlin, btw,

FALLING KINGDOMS BY MORGAN RHODES
This is a high fantasy, young adult series which has been compared to and sometimes referred to as they younger version of Game of Thrones. I really want to read more fantasy and have heard so many good things about this series,
FANGIRL by RAINBOW ROWELL
My first read of 2015 was Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell and I adored that book so much. Fangirl is literally about a fangirl who is separated from her sister as they go off to uni and guess what? I'm going to uni this year, too!
GAME OF THRONES by GEORGE R.R. MARTIN
I wanna read this book because it's about time that I read it. I love GOT as a TV show and despite having watched all season people say that it still doesn't ruin the reading experience. Plus, I want to read it to say I have read it.
THE BONE SEASON by SAMANTHA SHANNON
Here we have a book about spies in London. I live in London and I think it will be cool to see the references and I have also heard that the story is really good. The third book comes out this year so I can marathon them all!

HARRY POTTER #1, #2, #3 by J.K. ROWLING
I think it is about time I read this series. I have been marathoning the movies this past Christmas and cannot wait to read the books. I atleast want to read all of the Harry Potter books before I turn 20, that way I can say I read them in my teen years.
CITY OF FALLEN ANGELS, CITY OF LOST SOULS AND CITY OF HEAVENLY FIRE by CASSANDRA CLAIR
I read the first three books last year and the third book (City of Glass) was my favourite and kind of got into a slump after that. I am however, determined to finish the series, this year!
THE DIVINERS by LIBBA BRAY
All i know is that this is set in the 1920's and has amazeballs reviews. I think it may be about witches (I infer this from the eye.) Overall, it just looks like it would be a great read!
RED QUEEN by VICTORIA AVEYARD
This book is about two rival sets of people. One of the groups have red blood and the other silver. Im guessing the red blood, maybe being the hated kind, becomes a queen.. and stuff happens, obviously.
UPROOTED by NAIMO NOVIK
Both the story and cover are beautiful. Well, I obviously haven't read the story but it sounds so magical. A wizard, in return of keeping this town safe, wants a young girl. Instead of taking the prettiest young girl in the village he takes our main protagonist, Agnieska and the story unravels from there.
THOSE, are all the 16 books I definetly want to read in 2016. I know this list will change, I mean as we type I have bought more books that I want to read. Therefore I am going to be realistic and come up with the attainable goal of reading at least 10-13 of them. If I don't make that goal, considering my over all reading goal is 35, I truly suck at life and reading.

I'm ending now with a question of what would you like to read in 2016? Can you recommend me any books?
