GOODBYE 2015, HELLO 2016: RESOLUTIONS

2015 has definitely been a year of change for me. I finished college, turned 18, started driving and I am now on a gap year. I didn't expect 2015 to go as it did. I thought I had my life planned out however, 2015 taught me that I don't. Things happen and they happen for a reason and most of the time there's nothing you can do to stop them but just let them happen. Eventhough I originally thought the things that happened were for worse, like nit getting the A level results I want, I am kind of grateful for the break from school work, despite having to still revise. Nevertheless, I have more time to dedicate to my blog and work and figure out what I want, although I don't think I ever will figure that one out.

CARNABY CHRISTMAS

'Twas the night of Christmas Eve... A few days a go, my friend Sarah and I (you can see her on my Instagram) went to Oxford Street for a very unsuccessful day of Christmas shopping on my part. We went to Carnaby Street and obviously had to take a bunch of pictures. Queue OOTD and pretty X-Mas lights.

WHAT CHRISTMAS MEANS TO ME

Hi guys, I'm coming to you today with a bit of a personal post. So many people are writing posts on why they love Christmas and they are so lovely to read however, I thought I'd do a post on what Christmas means to me and hence why I love it. Excuse the cheese in this post (if it shows up.)

Five Places I'd Love to Visit #2

Hi guys, last year (well nearly two years a go now) I posted my 'Five Places I'd Love to Visit' and since then I have accumulated more places to put on my wanderlust list.
photo creds
1)St Petersburg, Russia. Whenever I see pictures of this beautiful place, I always crave to go. The architecture seems so amazing. I actually came across this city from the Vampire Academy books and the description has stuck with me since. I reeeally want to go. Just look at it in the snow!

2) Cappadocia, Turkey. Cappadocia seems so archaic and lovely, The place is literally made of caves and everything is built around them. The reason why I'd love to go to Cappadocia is to do the whole hot air balloon at sunrise thing as it is meant to be so beautiful.

The Best Christmas Movies Around

IT'S CHRISTMAAAAAAS! Well not today... but in a couple of weeks. Christmas obviously calls for Christmas movies to get you into the Christmas spirit, so here is a few you should definitely watch:

1) Home Alone 1-5
All the Home Alone movies get me into the Christmas spirit as they are all fun and funny, with amazing Christmas vibes. I do however prefer the fourth one, as I watched it all the time as a child. The movies always follow a young boy (most of the time named, Kevin) and what he get's up to whilst he is 'Home Alone' during Christmas time. This mostly involved little Kevin playing a bunch of pranks on the bad guys.

2) Miracle on 34th Street
Once again, this movie is sort of magical. I'll some it up for people who haven't watched it: it includes the girl from Matilda(yes, she's still cute and little,) Santa's on a real court trial and there's a really cute love story.

The Under £30 Christmas Gift Guide For Her!

Figuring out what to get a girl for Christmas can be pretty tricky, especially if you are on a budget. Most of these gifts are under £20, apart from the candle and the perfume but we will get into the prices now. I decided to go with £30 because it is a really great budget to work with and its not too expensive.
