My Favourite Films Growing Up! #Nostalgia

So I recently saw Corrie from Dizzy Brunette do this post and I absolutely loved it and thought I'd give it a go. Just a warning be prepared to be hit with a bunch of GIFS and Nostalgia. I also though I'd delve into my pre early teenage years and post some of the movies i watched when i was very little.

What little girl didn't watch Cinderella every day.. on repeat? Cinderella was just perfect.

Scooby Doo Movie!

I was obsessed with the Scooby Doo TV show. I mean it, every single day at 6.30 pm, before Coronation Street, on Boomerang, me and my little brother used to watch it without fail. Then when this bad boy came out on video, Saturday mornings at 8 o'clock were dedicated to this movie. I loved it and don't lie, you did to. Also, there is no denying that you fancied Fred just a tiny bit, too. Anyhoo, Scooby Doo taught us that even humans can be monsters.

The Cat In The Hat!

I watched this movie like a thousand times! I was just in love with the whole Cat in the Hat world. And let's be real: who didn't dress up as Thing 1, Thing 2 in their lives, or even contemplate it?

Mean Girls:

Every teenage girl, even to this day, quoted Mean Girls in secondary school. If you didn't go dressed up as a cat for Halloween, you obviously went as a mouse...duh. I just loved Mean Girls because Kady turned into a total b*tch but then found herself again and showed people don't need popularity to be happy.

The Princess Diaries.

The Princess Diaries are famous books by Meg Cabot which were made into movies. The movies are brilliant. Mia, played by Anne Hathaway was hilarious. The movie showed that everyone is beautiful and anyone can be a princess. Mia also always had a strong eyebrow game

So those were the movies I loved and watched a bajillion times growing up.
Tell me wa=hat you watched growing up or if we watched anything similar!

BLOGGING: Tips to Increase your Blog's Traffic!

Snooping around Bloglovin' the other day I was intrigued when I saw a bunch of 'how to increase your blogger traffic' posts and let's face it, who doesn't want their traffic increased?
I looked more about on the web and my bloglovin feed and found some really useful and straight forward posts to increase your blog's traffic.

The overall theme I found when it comes to increasing blog traffic is:
1) Know your audience. You want to know who keeps on coming back to your blog and what for. You want to delve into your analytics and find out what posts they are reading.
2) Content. You also want to put out great content that will entice them to come back. Content must be fresh and exciting.
3) Layout and Images. Your layout and images should be clean, simple and of good standard to make sure people are getting the most out of your blog.
4) Be yourself! People love originality and you'll like blogging even more when you are being what you want to be.

Having said that, these guys describe how to increase your traffic much better than I do:

Rebecca- Autumn Leaves. Her post: Increase Blog Traffic Tips. Rebecca's post was really great and gave me a wider understanding of the whole blog traffic business. The posts will give you an understanding on how to essentially use your analytics and other bloggers to help your traffic.

Lauren- Elle and Company. Her post: 4 secrets for Exponential Blog Growth. This post was one of the first posts I read in regards to growing my blog and I loved it. The post is basically about finding your niche and focusing on good content.

Bec- Bloggers Bazaar. Her post: 20 Ways To Increase Traffic to Your Blog. Bec provides really clean and easy to follow tips.Once again she puts an emphasis on content. Bec, like Rebcca links a whole bunch of other posts within this post, like how to make catchy headlines that will entice readers.

I hope some of these tips will help you increase your blog's traffic and definitely give the articles above a read.

What I've Been Watching! Things You Should be Watching!

Hey guys! So I have been away for a few weeks. My break from the blogosphere was refreshing. To be honest, I did not particularly want to take a break, I just got swamped with college work, which I should be doing now *oops.*

Within these past few weeks I sort of became glued to the gym, my textbooks and my laptop. I thought I'd share with you guys a few series I have been watching online and shows you should definitely watch to unwind or procrastinate.

The 100.
OMG guys. Please watch this. Not many of my friends like this TV show but I can assure you its brilliant. It takes place in a post apocalyptic Earth, where in the first season 100 teenagers from a space ship: 'the arc' are sent down to see if the Earth is hospitable. The 100 delinquents soon find out that it is indeed hospitable but they are not alone. The fist season explores the Sky People (the ones from the arc) and the Grounders- those on the ground. Many exciting this happens which jeopardize the safety of everyone. The season ends with a war between the two and the lead female protagonist seems to be kidnapped along with the survivors of her people by these people, who we find out in the second season, to be called 'Mountain Men.' The second season sees an allegiance between two sides and many shockers about the nature of a few of the characters. I highly recommend watching this show. Oh and Calvin from Hollyoaks is in it ;)

American Horror Story.
I've just started this series, I do not know why (especially with the magnitude of exams I have coming up) since every episode is 1 hour long. I am currently on season 1 episode 2, however, I will probably be a couple of episodes a head before this goes up. I'm talking about tomorrow LOL. I really like this show so far. The first episode was really great. I know the settings change for each series but the first series follows a family trying to get past their differences, who move into this house. The house is seriously haunted, as we see from the framing narrative which takes place thirty years prior to the present day. The house, the help that come with it and the neighbor definitely have a hand in what's going on, i just know it.

Do you watch any of these shows? What are you currently watching?
